Full Orchestraに免じて。～「The Four Sections」はオーケストラを弦、打楽器、管楽器に分断して聴かせた後、最後に全管弦楽で盛り上げる、という作りだが、最初の３楽章はライヒとしては自己模倣に終始した感もなきにしもあらず。ただしフィナーレの「Full～～ Orchestra」は圧倒的にすぐれたインスピレーションを持ち、「Sextet」のフィナーレ同様、文句なしの傑作。（演奏もここで俄然、良くなる。）「Music for Mallet Instrments, Voices and Organ 」は再録だが、前のちょっとダルな録音よりはるかに良い。作曲家本人も語るところの、この曲の「ユーモラスな」面をよく表した演奏で、楽しく聴ける。～
